Further update for the 2WHV
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection gave more information on the release of the 2WHV rules.
Most of the people who read our post last week asked whether the work that they were performing before the 31 of August would count or not.
Here the answers to your questions:
Work started before the 31 of August 2015 validity
If you started the volunteer work before 31 August, you will be able to count all days worked on the placement, even if you finish up after 31 August.
If you finished volunteer work before 31 August that counts as specified work, you can include these days towards your 88 days specified work if you apply for a second Working Holiday visa.
Is there any right amount I should pay for?
The pay rate may be set to the national minimum wage (currently sitting at $17.29 p/h before tax). However you may be entitled to a different rate according to awards, registered agreements and enterprise agreements. You can use Pay Calculator to find out your wage.

You must receive payslips for any job that you are willing to have counted towards the 88 days requirement for the Second Working Holiday Visa.
What should I do to make sure the days will be counted? You will need to make sure that the position is:
- Paid
- Registered to the ATO (Australian Taxation Office)
- Paid not in cash or if it is paid in cash you should ensure that taxes are being paid for the position. While cash-payments may be acceptable, these are hardly verifiable unless ATO documents are shown on top of the payments. Keep track of your days/hours and record any unpaid days

Se hai finito prima del 31 agosto potrai includere questi giorni nel computo degli 88 giorni quando applicherai per il secondo WHV.
Quale e’ la rata oraria minima?
La rata minima al momento e’ di $17.29 all’ora lorde. Tuttavia potresti essere pagato diversamente se il datore di lavoro e’ soggetto a un Award o a un Accordo registrato.

Devi ricevere delle buste paga obbligatoriamente se vuoi usarle ai fini del 2WHV.
Cosa devo avere per essere sicuro che i giorni siano validi ai fini della richiesta del Secondo Working Holiday visa?
- Buste paga
- Pagamenti delle tasse registrati
- Se pagato in contanti assicurati che siano versate le tasse. I pagamenti in contanti non sono ben visti dal Dipartimento di Immigrazione ma se ricevi pagamento contante assicurati che questo sia legale e che le tasse siano pagate
